Most of the help on the day is provided by parents and friends of the Scouts and Guides.

If you would like to be involved and are able to offer your time and enthusiasm on the day, please click on the button below and sign up. It’s as simple as that.

This will close on Wednesday 2nd November at the latest. It will be removed earlier if we have enough volunteers before then.

If you need to contact the organisers, then please complete the form here and we will be in touch.

Note to traders:
Please be advised we do not allow any traders on site for any reason. We are raising funds for the Scouts and Guides and try to maximise the money we generate by running everything ourselves. All catering is done by our own volunteers, we already sell the Flashing Novelties and do not allow Fairground rides on site. Please do not e-mail asking for access to the site as we will not reply.

Note re the bonfire:
Please be advised that a local tree surgery firm builds the bonfire for the display and they have sole responsibility. This is to ensure that it is not too big and that the wood used does not create too much smoke which has disrupted previous displays. We do not therefore require any additional wood and will not reply to any requests made through the website. Thank you for your understanding.

Scouting provides a second family to lots of young people. It’s a safe place where they can aspire and grow.'
