Cobra Explorers

Tuesdays: 7:30 to 9:00 pm – Led by Nick Couldry
Explorers are an adventurous group of young people aged 14 to 18 who:
- Master advanced skills and take on new challenges
- Build lasting friendships
- Have fun and embark on adventures, both locally and globally
- Explore new places and experiences
- Help others and make a real difference, both in their communities and beyond
Each week, they meet as part of the Explorer Unit, ready to tackle the challenge of shaping their world.
What do Explorers get up to?
Discovering independence and adventure
Being an Explorer is all about pushing the limits and discovering the world in new ways. You’ll have the opportunity to try new things, learn essential life skills, and work alongside committed volunteers who will support you along the way.
With friends by your side, you’ll develop the confidence to take on challenges and grow as an individual.
Thinking big, making a difference
Explorers aim high and act with purpose. They stand up for their beliefs and work towards creating a positive impact in their communities and beyond. They understand that even the smallest actions can lead to big changes.
For years, Explorers have played pivotal roles in society, and today they continue to break barriers and bring people together.
Saying yes to new experiences
Explorers are curious and ready to take on the world’s big and small challenges. Whether they’re going on their first overnight adventure, learning a new skill, or sharing laughs around a campfire, Explorers are always up for something new.
Sound fun? It is. All that’s missing is you.
Who leads Explorers?
Each Explorer Unit consists of young people aged 14 to 18, guided by trained adult volunteers. Explorers often work in smaller teams, relying on one another for encouragement and collaboration. Together, they go on expeditions, take part in exciting activities, and make lifelong memories.
