Scout Hut

Our Scout Hut is located at Silver Hill, Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire, HP8 4PY and is home to 1st Chalfont St Giles Scout Group.

The hut is used throughout the week for Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer meetings, as well as camps, training, community activities and group events.

The Scout Hut is suitable for children’s parties, community groups, training sessions, meetings, fitness classes and local events.

Facilities

The building includes a large main hall, fully fitted kitchen, activity room, stores, toilets, meeting room and office space.

The premises are accessible and include dedicated parking. Outside, we have a garden area and campfire circle which are used for outdoor activities.

Hiring the Scout Hut

The Scout Hut is available for hire and is ideal for children’s parties, community events, meetings and group activities.

The Scout Hut is regularly used for community events, meetings and external group bookings. The building is maintained in line with current fire safety and safeguarding requirements, with documented risk assessments and safety procedures in place.

Hire Fees

£15 per hour
£50 for a 4-hour booking
£10 per hour for each additional hour after the initial 4 hours

Parking

Parking is available at the Scout Hut, although spaces can be limited during busy meetings and events. Please park considerately and avoid blocking access routes or neighbouring properties.
