Scout Hut Goes Solar with Help from HS2 Grant
Thanks to a generous funding grant from HS2, our group has successfully installed solar panels on the Scout hut roof. This is a significant step towards the group’s commitment to sustainability and the environment.
The solar panels will generate enough electricity to power the entire Scout hut, including the lights, heating, and cooking facilities. This will save the group hundreds of pounds each year on its energy bills.
In addition to the financial benefits, the solar panels will also help to reduce the group’s environmental impact. Solar energy is a clean and renewable source of energy, so by switching to solar, the Scouts are helping to protect the planet.
The installation of the solar panels was carried out by the team at Kimbletech Ltd, who are experts in solar energy installation. The team worked closely with the Scout group to ensure that the panels were installed safely and efficiently.
The Scout group are delighted with the new solar panels, and they are grateful for the support of HS2 and Kimbletech Ltd. We are excited to start using solar energy to power our activities and reduce the environmental impact.
The Scouts are committed to making a difference in their community, and we believe that sustainability is an important part of that. By switching to solar energy, the Scouts are setting a positive example for others and helping to create a greener future for everyone.
